🚨 Drone strike hits residential area in Mekelle as tensions rise between TPLF and Abiy Ahmed Ali 🇪🇹 regime A drone strike hit a residential area of Mekelle, the capital of Tigray Region, in the early hours of August 20, amid mounting tensions between the TPLF and the Abiy regime. Amanuel Assefa, vice president of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), which rules the state, told AFP the drone hit the city of Mekelle early on Thursday. “There was a drone strike today in the city. It targeted a residential area … I don’t have details on casualties yet,” he said. An AFP journalist in Mekelle said residents had confirmed the strike. The strike comes two days after another drone strike was reported near Mekelle on August 18.

This madness in #Tigray must stop! This evening, armed militants from a criminal group of Army 60 opened fire on mothers who courageously opposed the forced conscription of their children in Hagereselam, Dogu'a Tembien, #Tigray, #Ethiopia. This is not an isolated incident. Similar abuses are unfolding across Tigray, turning the region into a place of fear and suffering. The violence continues, and silence only emboldens those responsible. The people of Tigray deserve peace, justice, accountability, and protection. The Federal government and the international community must not look away. Human Rights Watch U.S. Embassy Addis EU in Ethiopia / የአውሮፓ ህብረት በኢትዮጵያ UK in Ethiopia 🇬🇧 UN Human Rights

While Ethiopia provides 🇪🇹 a rear base for the RSF fighting Sudan 🇸🇩, Khartoum, for its part, provides a rear base for the Tigrayan rebels fighting Addis Ababa. The Tigray People Liberation Forces Army 70 is based in Al Fao (located by Dinlas), fought in the battle of Khartoum and is training Tigrean recruits to launch an offensive on Welkait, a disputed region in north-western Ethiopia, between Amhara and Tigray. This force could be composed of more than 5 000 men ready to attack Ethiopia. -> The relationship between Sudan and Ethiopia cannot be understood without knowing about these two bases that are acting as a destabilization mean from abroad...

So I just played Pokemon in REAL LIFE! This is one of the coolest things I've experienced in the headset using MR. And the fact it works this well still blows my mind. Huge thanks to DramaticShape for his work on this for Quest. Unbelievable job on this.

Michael wore a few iconic t-shirts in his short film for “Beat It” that are very recognizable even today. But did you ever notice something interesting going on with this Piano t-shirt from this scene in the short film?

Trump shared his thoughts on Gaza with a reporter today: “I want the people of Gaza to be safe…I want to see safety for the people of Gaza. They’ve gone through hell.” He said this right after approving a $510 million U.S. weapons deal with Israel…You cannot make this up.

Horrific moment one of today's russian strikes hit an office building in Kyiv. This and other attacks on the capital killed 7, and injured 59 people just today! Russia must be stopped, this daily terrorism cannot go on.
