All he had to do was cut it just above ground level. Drill severl holes. Fill holes with espen salt then add water. Cover. Repeat process for about a week. Then the trunk can be broken up into pieces

Just give up? Never give up on burning out the stump. I've burned countless ... the secret is this: You can't let the stump outsmart you. You have to outsmart the stump.

I’ve had 2 spontaneous fires start on my 40 acre property from tree roots that caught on fire from above ground fires and burned for over 6 months before igniting another larger fire which had to be put out in separate emergencies. Don’t do this. Tree roots can burn for years

I know he’s trying to get rid of it but that would make for a sick outdoor firepit for guests, or for a small bonfire, make some smores over the top there. I’d even get a grate and slap some burgers in there too. 😂
