Meanwhile parents are writing letters to school boards about Doordash orders, like come on now

Sad to say, but this was the case before the pandemic. My mom is a teacher and my dad has a masters in education and I’ll say this, so many people are walking around with hs diplomas they should’ve never received

No child left behind got kids moving up grades when they should’ve repeated grades 🥴

We can see this with adults on Twitter every day. They cannot read, spell, or comprehend. They have been failed by parents and the system.

According to national data 9/10 parents think their child is at or above grade level in reading and math (regardless of race, income, education level, geographic location etc) when in reality only 1/3 of students are actually on grade level.

The first "performing at a 4th grade level since the 4th grade" tickled me DEEP 💀

Maybe he's being reductive for emphasis, but there's a lot missing from this argument. Like the fact that parents don't pass/promote their kids to the next grade. Schools haven't figured out how to deal with retention effectively. That's an obvious system flaw. One of many.

if you think his delivery was bad, you prolly who he was talkin bout 😂😂😂

It’s so crazy parents don’t even take one hour to help their kids lol

54% of adults in the US read below the 6th grade level. "Ages 16-74" Thought y'all might be interested 🫶🏽
