🚨Just 9.5 months in as EPA Administrator, and I can report that our non-stop efforts have now brought me to ALL 50 states! The best way to fix the mess we inherited is to be out of the beltway as much as possible and on the ground across the country listening to the ideas and feedback from the Americans our policies most directly impact. From Superfund and Brownfield sites, emergency response to massive new ground breakings and power plants, the Trump EPA never rests. We’re protecting the environment AND growing the economy, Powering the Great American Comeback all throughout our country.

I’m currently traveling in Pennsylvania with EPA stops in the House districts of Congressmen Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry. Yesterday, in Luzerne County, I joined our U.S. EPA Mid-Atlantic Region team at a local Superfund site where EPA is doing important work to remediate environmental contamination from a former occupant of the property. This project has been a long time coming with this site first being placed on the National Priorities List in 2001.

The Trump EPA answered the call from millions of Americans and ENDED the absurd Climate Participation Trophy, created by the Obama Admin, to reward manufacturers for installing the almost universally despised START/STOP feature in vehicles that causes it to die at all red lights and stop signs. Discussed with Tudor Dixon how the Trump EPA wants manufacturers to build the vehicles consumers prefer to buy rather than the vehicles that DC bureaucrats and politicians demand.

I'm grateful to Senator Dave McCormick and U.S. Senator John Fetterman for stepping up to help ensure the Keystone State has a place on the National Mall. From dairy and mushrooms to apples, poultry, and so much more, Pennsylvania's farmers, ranchers, and producers have helped feed America for generations. This celebration is about honoring the people and places that built our country. Just by canceling certain media contracts that we have or closing down an EPA museum that no one visited, we are continuing to find efficiencies in everything that I just described. The Trump EPA has been making tremendous progress at US ports to ID and stop illegal foreign chemicals, HFCs, uncertified knock off aftermarket vehicle parts, and much more. I was at the Port of LA meeting with EPA Pacific Southwest Region inspectors and their counterparts at Customs and Border Protection where they are working diligently on this important mission to halt the importation of illegal foreign pesticides and other threats to American families.
