He has another identity as well: he is the father of Krishnakanta Saha, the BJP MLA from the Sainthia constituency in West Bengal. Although his son has become an MLA, he could have easily given up the shop to spend the rest of his life in comfort; however, he maintains that upon becoming an MLA, his son now belongs to the local people just as much as he belongs to him, Before looking after his father, his son must now serve the public.
