ALERT: Florida man yells “man that b*tch lying” after he is sentenced to life in prison for kidnapping and r*ping a DoorDash driver. Joseph Killins was on trial for the kidnapping and s*xual assault of a female DoorDash driver in Tampa in 2023. Killins claimed to have known the 20-year-old woman and had a prior intimate relationship with her in the months leading up to the incident. Killins said she was pursuing him and he was trying to break off the relationship. "Anybody in their right mind wouldn't hold someone at gunpoint and then force them to perform oral s*x on them… That would be kind of crazy." The victim and her friend said that Killins robbed her at gunpoint and assaulted the victim, and when her friend tried to rescue her, Killins shot at them. After less than 30 minutes of deliberation, a jury found Killins guilty on 6 counts. Killins was sentenced to life in prison on four of 6 counts for armed kidnapping, s*xual battery with a deadly weapon, robbery with a firearm, and attempted first-degree murder. Killins was also sentenced to 15 years each for robbery and felon in possession of a firearm.
