JUST IN: G15 Coordinator, Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe, has declared that they are supporting PDP candidates under the leadership of Bukola Saraki because they want leaders that will answer to them. Oloriegbe also explained that Ilorin has the biggest population in Kwara and should be producing Governor again in 2027.

BREAKING: Hours after resigning from the APC, Senator Saliu Mustapha has been announced as the Kwara Central PDP senatorial candidate, replacing Yinka Otukoko, who previously held the ticket. Senator Saliu was part of the Kwara APC G15, a faction of the APC comprising 10 governorship aspirants, three serving APC senators, some APC House of Representatives members, and other influential APC leaders who are displeased with Governor Abdulrazaq over the handling of the Kwara APC governorship primary, which produced Speaker Yakubu Danladi-Salihu as the APC governorship candidate. The faction is now in alliance with former Senate President Bukola Saraki following successful discussions to secure their support for Kwara PDP ahead of the 2027 general election. The G15 made some demands during the discussions, with some Senate seats in play as reported earlier and now confirmed. If ADC wants to defeat Tinubu, they should ensure that Peter Obi secures the ticket and use their structure to support him in the north. If they do this, Tinubu will be defeated. — Mojeed Dahiru This man kept advising PDP before their primary in 2022. He wrote articles and went on several TV Stations warning them of the danger of not ensuring that Peter Obi got their ticket. Of course PDP didn't listen and that particular action destroyed PDP completely. Fastforward to 2026, Dahiru has started warning ADC again to ensure Obi gets their ticket if they truly want to win. Let's hope they listen.
