Rich Roll on why waiting to "feel like it" is a trap: "You can't think your way into the mood that you seek or the state of mind that you aspire to inhabit. Action is the only thing that can trigger that change." Rich uses running as the perfect illustration of this principle. Imagine you wake up in the morning and you're supposed to do a run because you're training for a race. You don't feel like it. So what do most of us do? "We all resort to that state where we think, 'Well, I don't want to do it right now. I'll just wait until I feel like doing it and then I'll do it then.'" But here's the problem with that logic: "If you're waiting until you feel like doing something, chances are you're probably never going to get to it." The mood you're hoping will arrive on its own? It's not coming. Not without action first. "To take the action despite how you feel about it is the thing that catalyzes the state change." You don't run because you feel motivated. You feel motivated because you ran. He points to what every runner knows from experience: "When they finish the run, they're always glad that they did it. They don't generally regret it. And then they feel better." Notice the sequence. The good feeling comes after the action, not before it. The state change is the reward for showing up, not the prerequisite. And this isn't just about running. As Rich puts it: "That example is applicable to all areas of life." The workout you're avoiding. The conversation you're delaying. This is the state of society today. A man thinks he has the right to access female-only spaces because his feelings were hurt by people not believing he is a woman. Is that not the object of the game? It is not a woman's burden that you have chosen to medicalise yourself, and it is not up to them to act as your human shield. Just stop. I had to edit out the ending of this video because a minor was on camera, and I do not allow that. I said: "I appreciate that, but women shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable for you to feel comfortable. And what that means is that all of the problems, not just with the US economy, with the economy of every country in the world, are about to get worse. And it means that the Iran war is going to go much longer than otherwise anticipated. And that is a disaster not just for Americans, but for all people. And then if you think about the effects on energy and then manufacturing, and then rates will continue to go up, and then inflation, it's a it's a calamity for the world economy with no strategy whatsoever.

Americans are becoming wide awake “Dearborn, Michigan is the perfect case study about why Islam is not compatible with American society or civilization at large. Did Dearborn become a beacon of light and hope? Is it full of charity and people looking out for one another in peace and coexistence and, oh my gosh, the amount of doctors and lawyers? No. Dearborn, Michigan is absolutely disgusting. It is filled with crime, it is filled with poverty, and it is filled with American citizens being told that if they do not want to bow down to the Islamization of America, then they need to get the hell out, even being told that by their own politicians. They feel like Islam can rule over everything there, right? They loudly play their call to prayer and if you have a problem with it, despite the fact that it legally breaks city ordinance with how loud it is, then you're told to leave and that you need to be quiet and that you just need to submit to their way of living. If you think that this is a coincidence, if you think that they have any intention of stopping there, then you are deluding yourself. These people are extremely violent. They don't want open discourse. They don't want open dialogue about religion. They do not see you as an equal, and girls who do not wear hijabs there or who do not dress in their definition of modesty are oftentimes harassed for it. They even went so far as to try to stop people from being able to walk their dogs because they see dogs as unclean animals. This is absolutely disgusting and I hope the American people start to wake up and realize what's actually going on over there.”

Your faith was forged in people who would rather be exterminated than assimilated. A soft version of it, eager to be liked and desperate to fit in, is not the thing they died to hand you.
