If protesters are blocking intersections or breaking the law, police should enforce the rules consistently and hold anyone responsible accountable. Peaceful protest is protected, but disrupting public safety isn’t.

The shooting today is yet another example of why ICE must be prohibited from using deadly force during apprehensions. Enforcement is not supposed to be a potential execution. ICE has killed American citizens. ICE has killed people illegally in the USA. ICE has wounded people. This is a systemic failure, not an isolated incident. We drove by the protest and honked in solidarity — because communities deserve safety, transparency, and accountability from the agencies that claim to protect them. Vote the Midterms with this in mind!
