If he wants constructive talks then maybe he should stop acting like a belligerent Soviet and withdraw his rape invaders from Ukraine.

They know their Goose of crude oil eggs is gone (Vzla) and their European business of oil and gas will be threatened by the upcoming US-Venezuelan oil at competitive prices.

Ohhh Putin out here dropping that smooth KGB salesman energy like “don’t worry baby, you’ll come back when the bills hit,” and honestly he’s probably not wrong, geopolitics always circles back to cold hard reality when the virtue signaling hangover wears off and the energy bills start slapping wallets like a drunk stepfather, Europe can posture, moralize, and hold press conferences all day, but pipelines, fertilizer, trade routes, and manufacturing don’t run on hashtags and emotional speeches, they run on deals, leverage, and whoever controls the damn chessboard, and Putin knows time is the ultimate negotiator, memories fade, leaders rotate, economic pressure creeps in, and suddenly everybody wants “constructive talks” again like nothing ever happened, that said, “mutually beneficial cooperation” coming from Moscow always comes with a fine-print contract written in bear claws and strategic leverage, so nobody should be naive about the hug behind the handshake, this isn’t kumbaya diplomacy, it’s power math, patience, and positioning, and the funny part is watching politicians pretend they’re immune to gravity when history keeps proving the same lesson over and over, interests beat ideology every single time, whether people like it or not 😎🔥

This language usually appears when Russia expects a long plateau, not a near-term deal. It’s about the next phase, not the next meeting.

Hmmmm…. Putin comes to say they are open to conversation. Zelenskyy comes to say the same thing. But when they are to have a conversation, everyone turns their back. Whereas soldiers are dying. Let there be peace.

Putin frames Russia as willing to engage, but on its terms. “Mutually beneficial” is a strategic language: COOPERATION IS OFFERED, NOT DEMANDED.. signaling patience and control over the pace and content of future negotiations!

He’s probably right. Sooner or later Europe will have to talk again, because geography doesn’t change and silence isn’t a policy.

For European countries to survive they must find a way to work with Russia and China. The US is sounding more like an aggressor. Ukraine can be persuaded to drop their bid to join NATO. Let them form another alliance apart from the US.

Putin knows Europe cannot survive indefinitely without Russian energy and stable borders. By keeping the door open for mutually beneficial cooperation, he is showing that Russia is the adult in the room while the EU panics.
