Do Trump supporters really buy the Trump administration's messaging on Greenland? "All of a sudden, now that the US has expressed an interest (in annexing Greenland)… and again the United States needs to be in control to prevent a war." Greenland is already protected by NATO. The United States has a base in Greenland. And the rest of NATO are already protecting Greenland. China and Russia have no bases in or near Greenland. There are no credible threats that Russia or China want to take Greenland. And if they did, the US and most of Europe would come quickly to Greenland's defense.
