New: Two Teens Arrested in Macon After Theft and Shooting A Ring camera captured two masked teens pointing firearms at the front door while one snatched scooters from the porch. Moments after leaving with the scooters, the two fired at a nearby vehicle. The driver was not injured. Seventeen-year-old Brandon Marquez Mitchell and a 15-year-old were later caught in possession of the scooters. Mitchell was already wanted for armed robbery. Mitchell is charged with armed robbery with no bond. The juvenile is charged with aggravated assault, theft by taking, possession of stolen property, interference with government property, and possession of a firearm by a minor.

Cheyenne Kastens,36, was stabbed to death on Friday, Nov 14, outside the Dollar General by 54-year-old Lemar Beasley "for no reason," according to police. Beasley was found guilty in 1991 of attempted first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery with a firearm, and aggravated battery with a firearm. Beasley was also found guilty in 1999 of sexual battery and false imprisonment. He is a convicted sex offender.
