Patriotism is not racism. Common sense is not extremism. Demographic decline is not a justification for allowing illegal immigration or legalizing the status of those who entered illegally, as Pedro Sánchez did for around 500,000 people. Europe should reform its immigration system and make it merit-based. It should welcome people who add value, are willing to contribute, and are committed to integrating into society. Most importantly, immigration policy should prioritize cultural compatibility and respect for the values of the countries people are joining. We don't need chaos, rampant crime, gangs, or social instability. Europe must not become a third-world region.

We will fully fund both border security and immigration enforcement for the balance of President Trump's term. We're going do this for two reasons: maintaining border security and deporting dangerous criminal illegal aliens is the baseline that the American people demand and deserve, and because there's not a single Democrat in Congress — House or Senate — who believes that border security and immigration enforcement should exist.

We will fully fund both border security and immigration enforcement for the balance of President Trump's term. "My feeling is this. I'm not pro-immigration. I'm not anti-immigration. What I want is for people who are not corrupt, who are well-informed about the issue, to figure out what the best level of immigration is and to set up a process that works. I don't want to see any illegals. I want to see people who come in legally. I want to see the number. Maybe it's a high number. Maybe it's a low number. I don't know, but I'd like to see the right number. I'd like us to at least aspire to it. And then most important of all, and I see this in both England and the US, somewhere along the line, we apparently decided it was impolite to ask people who wished to come to our countries, whether they liked us and aspired to be a part of our civilization. Going back to my makers vs takers point, if the primary motivation for an individual to come to this country is to be given benefits, to be given payments, to be given social services, to be given support, I think that that person should be denied immigration. If the primary motivation for the individual to come to the United States is to work to progress themselves, to become a maker, to create things, to work in such a way that they can generate income, save capital, buy things, advance their family's position because they are denied those rights due to the tyranny of the place that they're coming from, then they should be granted immigration status to come to this country and contribute. Because at the end of the day, what people may not like to hear, which is the truth, is that every single one of those people is actually net positive in growing our economy. And everyone thinks it's a zero-sum game with respect to jobs in the United States, and we shouldn't let people into this country that create jobs. But the fundamental truth is that anyone that is productive, meaning they create more value than they take in, grows the economy and more jobs get created, and overall, we all benefit from having those individuals here in this country.
