Spoiler alert… yes he will. Zelensky will do exactly what he is told, because he does not have a choice. His security relies 100% on US funding. When Trump and Putin come to a deal, if Zelensky refuses, then the funding will be shut off, Ukraine will collapse, and Putin will take what he wants anyways. Zelensky has no say in the matter. He is a dead man walking.

If Ukraine starts putting forward conditions regarding the meeting - some global, absolutely fair, regarding a ceasefire and so on - then the Russians will have a hundred conditions on their part. Therefore, I think this way: without any conditions, we must meet and think about how this path to ending the war will develop further.' Zelensky does not put forward his own conditions, but he does not accept Putin's proposal. This is the only way to understand it. That is, Trump and Putin agreed on the conditions for concluding peace in Ukraine that suit both the United States and Russia, and Zelensky rejected them. Trump could not do anything, the war continues. That is all that can be said about Trump as US President. Zelensky is simply leading him by the nose.
