In states like OKLAHOMA they trying to require the Bible to be taught in schools and state like Texas conservatives are trying to rewrite the story of American slavery . I even see conservatives Christian nationalism calling for more Christian nationalist education curriculum.

Recommend the Federal funds go to parents. Parents should decide where they go. And parents should get special ed money and assign it to those administering it. If public school then yearly they get funds and assign them to that public school.

We predicted the DOE would be abused when it was created. We worried that it would become a tool for indoctrination instead of education and now? Vindicated. Glad to see it being shut down.
