Just like everything new, I’m sure there will be growing pains… But this is some pretty tough commentary from the WPBL. And I’m not cherry picking, it’s been tough to listen to all four games so far Thought I was being gaslit by the commentators on this play #WPBL

That boils my blood. I’m not blaming everything on you [Jesy]. I’m not saying, ‘She’s this fucking monster and everything was her fault’ and blah blah blah. But take some accountability for your actions and realise you were difficult. You did have difficult moments. Granted, there were reasons for those moments... but you can only pick somebody up so many fucking times before you start losing track of your own sanity. You want to be there for that person, but if they can’t accept the help and they can’t accept the love you’re trying to show, how do you win? You can’t. I hate that. I don’t like putting the blame on people. Don’t put the blame on me and make me out to be something that I’m not. Yes, I’m not perfect. I might not have been there enough, or I could have done better I suppose… but I thought what I was doing was enough. I thought I’d tried everything. So to then sit there in further interviews and discuss it publicly and be like, ‘I wasn’t supported’… You were, though. You were. So just take some accountability and I’ll feel better about it. I’d say [I’m] more frustrated than angry, because I don’t like being painted into a person that I’m not. Because I’m an open book, I have to be real. It exhausts me when I see people that I know inside and out not being genuine. It frustrates me.”

Rumor has it I’m still swimming… 😂 Lol, but hey, I’m about to get real for a second. There have been many moments recently where I’ve felt like the currents have been too tough to swim through… All I wanted to do was throw in the towel and come up for air. But it’s in moments like this where I remind myself that I CAN swim… and I’m actually a damn strong swimmer at that! I may have to hold my breath for a little longer, or paddle a bit harder, but I always make it to the other side. So this is your reminder to just keep swimming. If I can do it, so can you. Whatever it is, you’ve got this ❤️ #mentalhealth

I honestly could never live in a place like this. I’m not claustrophobic, but just the thought of it makes me feel anxious and craving some fresh air. 😅 To be real, I don’t know much about China or their housing—my only “knowledge” comes from games like Slitterhead and Welcome to Kowloon, so no clue if that’s how it actually is.

Those four laps in qualifying... honestly, nothing else even comes close. This place is just different, there’s nowhere else like it also for everything it demands from us drivers. Watching from the sidelines this year is pretty tough, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wish I was back in the car. I’ll never take the chance I had to qualify and race here for granted. I hope to be back out there fighting for it again one day. Until then, I’ll be watching 👀
