When he gets there, he hears children crying. They were children with their mother. He asked if he could approach as she was alone. She agrees and he comes closer and asks why are the children crying? She says they are hungry. So what is cooking in the pot. She says it's just water I am boiling to pacify them to think I am cooking something. She then says I will complain about the khalifa to Allah . He says but how should he know about your condition. She said if he has become the khalifa then it is his duty to know. He rushes to the storage of the ummah and gathers some food. And tells the slave put it on his back . The slaves says I'll carry it. He says will you carry my burden on the day of qiyaamah, so he lifts it on the leader of the believers back . Who carried it back to the family. The mom began cooking and Umar Radiallahu anhu fed the kids himself. After they ate, he bids them fair well and goes a little distance. And stands for a while watching. His slave asks him Why are you watching them now. He said when I came , I saw the children crying , now my heart desires to see them laughing . What a man , what a leader .

2025 and evil still exists. These kids should not be suffering like this.
