I’d love to see a more interactive ongoing story. Arrowhead is doing a great job at having the player base push the Helldivers 2 story forward, I’d love to see Ubisoft and the For Honor team try something similar.

considering the direction they've taken since around year 7 (some would say ccu but they're retarded), i'd rather they didnt make a new multipler for honor game, they should instead get their shit together with FH and make a rpg spin off, because the world is actually awesome

Id rather they try the same concept again, but manage it better. I was there since the beggining and I don't really like the direction they took the game post-launch. But the base is ROCK solid.

For Honor is still doing surprisingly well. But guess that's more because of lack of competition. I'll still occasionally install it and do some duels. Wouldn't mind a sequel though

If the samurai armour were depicted as historically accurate metal rather than wooden, I'd buy it. They really went overboard with Assassin's Creed... Honestly, I've given up on expecting historical accuracy from them.

Same, I want all of them to have historical gear. It'd be harder to pull the necessary level of variety with the vikings but it can be done (more) tastefully

For honor is a game with infinite potential held back by the fact it's an ubisoft game

FH is truly one of a kind "hero shooter" or rather, brawler. I wish ubisoft would get their shit together or sell the IP to someone competent.

For honor 1 is good and has almost 50 characters, just play that

I've put enough hours into it, I used to be rank Diamond when the ranked mode came out, I've already got all the gear and the new heroes are annoying. I want them to try again

I'd go back into it with an open mind if you really wanted a sequel The game is in so much better of a spot than when ranked first came out (I got to plat 5) Some of the new characters are annoying (varangian guard) but outside of a couple stinkers they've made awesome heroes

Man the year 4 heroes were such a massive joy theft tho

Since Ubisoft has signed a contract for 10 years of For Honor maybe after the year 10 we will get a second one... (Or maybe a full revamp of the game) But first let hope that the year 10 will be great... (Starting by adding new permanent gamemod) #1v1v1

I really want your wish to become real, but I don’t think that as of now Ubi knows how to do the game justice. For Honor could have been dropped in 2019 and yet is still holding on, receiving content now and then. FH2 could be a failure and drag FH1 down with it.

It would be cool if For Honor added a playable Faction War mode, 4 on 4 on 4, locked factions (meaning you have to play as a hero from the faction you joined), to earn points for your faction. Add new maps maybe too.

I will always love that game but simultaneously hate it for cursing us with that one Warden helmet (I somewhat like the design, but it is everywhere now)

it's a shame the game never got a competitive place among the greatest, however I don't think it would be the right direction, maybe a trick like overwatch2 well avoiding the mess they made but ya know

I tried For Honor's competitive scene and it's not that it was unsuited it's just that.. It was pretty empty, when it came out anyway.

For Honor 2 and season 1 bringing the same vibe as Season 5 when we had the age of war and dedicated server migration. Felt like the WORLD was on for honor back in that day! Was a few years ago around this exact time of year

Nothing ever hit quite like year 2 before the release of the Wu Lin for me. I remember when the Kensei rework came out (I mained the OLD kensei) Ah man, the good old days

They could have remastered Cold Fear. They could have laid the foundation for their own Resident Evil. But instead they sold it to Atari & look at it now. It's been remastered in partnership with GoG & might become their Resident Evil instead.

Only if it looks like how the early alpha of For Honor looked like. The very first showing of it.

A lot of people were very disappointed by For Honor back then (I wasn't one of them), so to attempt a new one now, with the current gaming landscape... There's a good chance it would flop. If they made it into a cool single player first game, with an online component, it might do better at this point, but it wouldn't be For Honor. So maybe call it something else

The shitty servers at launch was certainly shooting themselves in the foot. But with the current revival/surging interest for knights and the middle ages I think it's the right time.

My worry is more about the dislike of live service multiplayer games. We saw what happened to High Guard. Not saying For Honor is that, but people might still gripe about it.

I think the fact For Honor is still going is a testament that great ideas thrive even if INCREDIBLY mishandled. Id love for the ip to get another chance

What would a sequel even look like? The game is in an OK-ish state right now, and making a new game would reset everyone’s gear, character reps, execution, etc. which would leave a pretty sour taste in my mouth

And make it a grand single player empire building game in the same vein as Mount and Blade too. Arcadey action multiplayer game is fine, but just imagine how awesome it would be to have great armies of knights and samurais and Vikings clashing, with us controlling the units and fighting inthe thick of it?
