The Champion Chase from a punting perspective should always be taken with caution. So many strange things have happened down the years. You couldn't rule out Matata in the same way Gaelic Warrior could win by half the track.

Don’t think Matata would reverse the form or anything, but would like to see him go to Cheltenham. Think he’s settling better and better in his races, so could pose a threat if the big guns just watch each other & would guarantee a genuinely run race
