Majority of the contractors come from marines, rangers and seals around the world. Some of the major PMCs were created by the people who went through the shitter and understood that there's money to be made somewhere else.

@JMuller237 You cant think of those as jobs that anyone can apply for lol. Its like a secondary job for people who already are acquainted with a lot of the work they do. Plus its not as fun or easy as it sounds.

Unless you were special forces or have a history in a combat area? They won’t answer unless you give them a reason to. I.E. find out what a PMC is recruiting for and if you can contribute to their goals. I have a history in evacuation operations training, for example.

If you’re looking to fill maritime roles? You’d have to start with a military job that does that or join the merchant marines.
