just remembering this incredible episode ending from early in S1. I think this was the moment I knew Andor was something truly special and it was thanks in large part to Britell's musical score

rewatched those first 3 eps again today. I think I'd had a notion in my head that they were weaker as an arc than the eps that followed, but nah dude. it's masterful stuff. if that initial Ferrix arc was all we ever got of Andor, it would have still been the best Star Wars ever

The music at the end of e6 when Luthen is hearing about the Aldhani heist was unreal. Every part of the score fits the tone of each scene in S1 so unbelievably well

I never thought the score for a spin off character from a spin off movie would have me locked in. Then you got scenes like this which just make you super emotional. The writing by Gilroy is legit of dreams for Star Wars

Used to play that track on loop back when it dropped. So good. There's a few bangers in S2 as well, one you just heard at the end of episode 3.

It's crazy how repulsive I found the idea of a Rogue One spin-off only for it to be Top 3 star wars ever

Man I miss Britell's score. That music elevated the show to another level

"I burn my life to make a sunrise that I know i’ll never see." is one of the hardest lines ever written, that line was the one that made me realize how incredible the show and its themes were. The cost of revolution and realities those who are forced to fight must face.

It’s when the drums hit that had me head over heels. Hot take? Best Star Wars score since Williams
