Anyone notice that the NRA is silent. It's almost like it's about race for them and not the guns.

If only Congress had the same morality, code of conduct requirements as the NBA.

It's pretty simple. NBA is a brand. Every player has a personal conduct clause in their contract agreed upon between owners and the union. It's wide ranging and can cover anything that embarrasses the brand. Him toting a gun is allowable by law, but, if it looks bad to the NBA...

Basketball players held to a higher standard than some politicians who like to wave their guns around.

People are Enraged because he is black. Negative Stereotypes are thrown at us. This is no different from the photos shown in this video.

NBA has a morality clause in all contracts about things like motorcycles, guns or skydiving. it's not a legal thing. if he was an everyday citizen then it'd be fine since he works for a private business they dictate what you can do in a contract that he signed.

It's fascinating that the NBA is basically saying guns are immoral, but you don't see the gun fetish 2A crew out calling for a boycott. Gee, wonder why that is...
I thought the Inside the NBA crew had a good take on this.

I don’t think it’s just the guns Instagram thing. He’s had other incidents one of punching a 17 year old at a pick up game and threatening him with the gun another of threatening an employee at a sporting goods store.

Very simple sir. Morant is employed by the NBA.
