3 TASK_MASTER_PROJECT_ROOT → optional override → goes in .env or MCP config this helps folks on VMs, WSLs + other environments to use a custom project root without having to define it in every executed command also: BaseURL now works correctly as well hope they help!

4 semantic context logic for add-task before creating a new task, taskmaster now better compiles context from your existing tasks which it then passes to the AI along your prompt this should further improve the quality and relevance of the tasks initially created by the ai

5 added an experimental CLI-only `sync-readme` command to export task list to your README → supports --status and --with-subtasks flags → auto replaces existing exports or appends to new READMEs, so you can re-run anytime → export is timestamped send feedback for this one

6 general CLI cleanup → CLI commands no longer clears terminal history → removed emojis *retch* from the task list → cleaned up the Taskmaster banner → improved consistency and readability of task complexity display

7 fixes - improved algo for resolving tasks path - max_tokens for Claude models - add-task MCP tool - update tools wrong project root - issue when models don't have tool_use - adds warning when free @openrouter model is detected about rate limits, context + tool_use +++
