Lenny and Sulwe must feel so cool right about now! Ex-orphan Ziwa, who has been living wild for many years now, popped by to visit our Umani herd. The 14-year-old bull has real gravitas, but Lenny and Sulwe were unfazed. The little babies toddled over to join him in the mud and tried their very best to impress, before beating a hasty exit. We'll let you decide how that went.

Mom here: Sam has been having a little trouble with his back legs. Nothing new, just more dramatic lately. His back legs gave out trying to go up a flight of stairs - which is new. So we sat on the floor together and shared blueberries. Calling the vet to get him in for his Ketamine and Librela shot which always seem to help. Growing old is part of life, we will care for him just as he cared for me for so many years. Video: Sam lying on a tile floor being fed blueberries.

That’s how long millions of Afghan girls and women have been waiting, for classrooms to reopen, for workplaces to welcome them back, for their dreams to breathe again. I was one of the lucky ones. I had the chance to learn, work, grow, be independent, and make choices about my own life; like any human being should. But I often think: this could have been the story of countless other Afghan girls if only they had been given the same opportunities. Education and work are not privileges, they are basic human rights. Until every girl in Afghanistan can study and work freely, the world will continue to miss out on their talent, ideas, and contributions. In just a few years, Afghanistan has lost what took two decades to achieve, especially for women. Decades of progress have been rolled back, taking with them the voices, dreams, and potential of millions. Today marks four years since Afghanistan changed in a way that put the future of its girls and women on hold. I stand in solidarity with them - those whose dreams have been taken away entirely.

Excited to announce that I have taken on the role of Vice Chair of Academic Affairs in the Department of Medical Oncology & Experimental Therapeutics at City of Hope. Candidly, in my 17 years at this great institution, I’ve been reluctant to take on roles in leadership. Why? Well, I’ve just been so happy doing what I’m doing - seeing patients, doing research & working with phenomenal trainees and junior faculty. I view this new role as an opportunity for me to build on that third area of focus — my goal is to materialize the vision that each one of our faculty members has for their own career. I welcome any & all advice on how to accomplish this!

🚨😡 Shocking & Infuriating: I just saw a video from Zhangjiajie, China, a couple decided to “train” their 2-year-old son by forcing him to illegally cross a busy road alone. They stood on the other side, waving and urging him to come over. The terrified toddler stumbled and fell, but the mother kept shouting for him to get up and keep going. Seconds later, a car slammed into him, sending the little boy flying through the air. This is not “training.” This is reckless endangerment. This is child endangerment of the worst kind. How any parent could treat their own toddler like a disposable experiment is beyond comprehension. These parents failed the most basic duty of parenthood — to protect their child. They deserve full condemnation and should face serious legal consequences for what they did. My heart breaks for this innocent little boy. Praying he makes a full recovery. JADE gets emotional reflecting on her North American tour in a new TikTok: “I’m having so much fun on this tour. I just feel so grateful that I’m getting to do this at this point in my career. The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. I’m just so chuffed that I get to do this for a living… be a silly pop girlie, write and create music that brings people – and myself – a lot of joy… Thank you for believing in me. I literally get on the bunk on my bus most nights from the tour and just lie there like, ‘Oh my god! As if this is my life!’ It means a lot. 10 days. Two countries. JUST THE TWO OF THEM...from quiet walks and random shopping stops, to meeting friends.... We can all see that they are so so happy and IN LOVE... Not just in the photos and in the videos they allow us to see but in the eyes and lenses of the fans who met them along the way. This is their 4th trip together (NON WORK RELATED). And its only like what? 1st quarter of 2026. People say you discover a lot about someone when you travel with them.. So when they keep going back on trips with each other.. its safe to assume that they've already seen and know enough.. YET they still want more. And THAT SAYS EVERYTHING. ✨ So the cults really sound DUMB when they say... "THEY THINKS ITS SPECIAL, BUT ITS REUSED".😂 Im very very sure.. Being Super Junior’s leader is really an extreme job and I am just happy that Leeteuk has a strong will and the longest patience. I wouldn’t blame him bursting out of anger from all the things he endured for so many years and just say that “it’s okay” or “for the team” instead of getting angry. Just imagine Super Junior had 13 members how many of them made mistakes and fight each other and fight other people — and all of that Leeteuk was included in the scolding and punishment because he is the leader even if it’s not his fault or he wasn’t involved. Plus back then SM management was really unforgiving, hard, and harsh to him and not to mention some seniors before who abuse his kindness and do power-tripping. Again, thank you for everything, uri leader-nim, Leeteuk 💙
