“Just that sense of desperation that something needs to be done by someone. And then I realized that I am someone, and I can be doing something. Keep fighting, don’t give up.“ [1/2]

@GretaThunberg I'm an old person but I realised something needed to be done too so I began taking action. We old people are responsible so we should be doing all we can to turn things around. I'm focused on #marineconservation. Here I am at the #WorldOceanSummit.

I got a surprise for someone that tried me and thought that was a smart thing to do. I have files on everyone I think has something to say or said about me. I will teach this influencer about how I work. I just be waiting for the opportunity, don’t give it to me. Long story short, someone is about to be selected to be exposed.

How can Don Mattingly not be in the Hall of Fame? I don’t understand! Maybe someone out there that can tell me something I don’t know about the voting?

“There are many things I’m not capable of doing. But I learnt that I’m capable of doing something, and that was to enable, to support others in what they can do and especially in my position now, I found that while I can’t do business, I can support those who are capable of doing business to do it, by creating an environment for them to do that, so that they can succeed, and in the end, I and many others benefit from that. Same thing as sports; I wasn't a sportsman, at least not playing sports, I was a sportsman at heart. I set out to always say, I can't do nothing. I always have to do something. And if I can do something, by enabling those who can do much more, that benefits them and the whole country. All this builds communities, builds families, builds individuals. So, if I can be part of that story where I can provide something that brings those together, I'm the happiest person. And of course, many other people make some inputs. As to what can be done, and that's how the idea of building this sports city came up. And we are not stopping here. We keep growing. We keep going. And again, if that can inspire others beyond our borders, and if we can be part of that story by, and through cooperation, we are again very happy to be part of that.” President Kagame | Zaria Court Official Opening.

I am shocked, shocked that Tommy Tuberville actually said something that makes sense and that I agree with: Republicans in the Senate do not deserve to be in the majority.

The reason Mark become confidence in his decision: That kind of thing was so precious to me. Just the fact that there was something I wanted to accomplish even if I put aside everything that made me feel safe, even money and all that, felt incredibly precious. I’ve always had this desire to be good at everything, to be the very best, so honestly, every day when I wake up, I’m just like, “I want to live today as the best I can,” with that kind of mindset. As someone who lives like that, I started wondering what the standard for “the best” is, and then, what my greatest dream is. And as everything connected, what is the greatest something I can leave behind in this life, in this world I thought, then for this greatest dream that I believe in, I should go all in with the greatest effort and the greatest focus, something like that.

Brian Armstrong prefers to be a wartime CEO: “I used to think that I was better as a peacetime CEO, but I think that's not true. It's actually totally flipped.” “I think it's wartime, all the time.” “And I actually realized that I like wartime.” “I find it very energizing and motivating. It can make you really pissed in certain moments too, but it's actually very energizing. And sometimes when there isn't any conflict or war going on, I get a little bored and tired and I'm just like—it seems like nothing's blowing up right now, and I could use a good crisis.” “I don't want to be doing conflict for conflict's sake. I think that that's just destructive. But if you see something—a clear problem that needs to be solved—something to fight after—if you don't speak up and say something about it, then you're failing as a leader.” “Wartime is great. I love conflict.” Brian Armstrong with Ti Morse on Relentless

Emilia Clarke hilarious response to being named the 'Sexiest Woman Alive' by Esquire Magazine. "People ask me about that and I'm like, yeah, I feel like I should have opened supermarkets or something with that title" "That was a funny shoot. I feel like I should have opened supermarkets or something with that title" "Doing those kind of sex scenes on camera is one thing, but doing it as yourself, I need alcohol to do" "They just kept giving me vodka and I'd be like, I'm just going to keep the sheet up, and they'd be like 3, 2, 1, go and just yank it down" "That's me drunk. That's me Photoshopped and drunk. That's what I look like"
