Still mad my wife didn’t let me wear that armor as my wedding outfit.

I miss when vampire movies were also cinematic masterpieces. This isn't just a horror flick, it's an oscar worthy film. We need more of those.

I do love this film (mainly for Gary Oldman) but Rider and Reeves were SO badly miscast. I get Coppola was going for the young demographic with the current 'It' people. If he'd only cast more capable actors for the material, it would be seen as one of the best horrors of all time

@GareRick Great film, and AMAZING score!

I ❤️❤️ this film. & think it’s horribly underrated. The cast was huge (for its time) & this is BEFORE Keanu does films like “John Wick” & “The Devil’s Advocate” (another banger) and Hopkins had just come off playing Lector in “The Silence of the Lambs”

Such an awesome film with so many incredible shots.

My girlfriend loves the original book but had never seen this film and I showed it to her, she was like tumblr fangirling over it on her Instagram story afterwards

I live in Spain, I therefore think about it a lot.

One of the few movies I just “put on” for background vibes. On top of that, I’ll watch it properly like twice a year

Still the undefeated Dracula film. The stylized visuals and subliminal imagery used in this movie are amazing. Seeing Dracula use his many forms was a great treat as well.

For 10 years I've been planning a Monsters Universe this prologue was basically my 1st film Gladiator meets Dracula origins film. I called it VLAD THE IMPALER and that if marketed no clue would be given of the Dracula aspect and that it be sold as an Action Epic. Then halfway 🧛🏻♂️

This film doesn’t age just like it’s protagonist/ antagonist

@GDMLosB Still my favorite Dracula movie

I quite liked Luc Besson’s Dracula movie but this one remains the 🐐

Still my favorite vampire film.

Fantastic visuals in that film. The period-correct, in-camera practical FX were pure genius as well. Gary Oldman was beyond incredible, but that's par for the course for him.

What’s really crazy is so much of the effects in this movie were practical and in camera.

I always loved this movie.

It set the tone for the rest of the movie. Unfortunately, the movie's a little uneven in spots, but it's still an ambitious but flawed masterpiece.

Genuinely my favorite movie of all time

Just in time for fall yess

Every single minute of this film is beautiful

Classic. Epic opening scene to a phenomenal film.

I need to see this smh

Cine 🚬👏👏👏

@GareRick I worked at a movie theater in Key West when this came out. I spliced the reels together and test screened it with some other workers the night before it opened. Probably watched it another 6 times during its run. Great memory.

Love it. Was to little to see it in the cinema. My sis went with her friend. Came back and told me how good it was. I was crying.

Why, because it FUCKING RULES?

Masterpiece, Hokpins voice, i love it. Seen ist 200 Times or so. Vlad hat übrigens erst mit Mitte 30 angefangen Türken zu pfählen. Es ist nie zu Spät für eure Träume😆

Set the stage

Its climax is so awesome

If only the ending went out with more of a climax. Dracula was taken out far too quickly. I know it may have followed the book. But it was a very stylized movie. I would have preferred a big final battle fight with Dracula. Otherwise it’s an epic movie.

Sadly the rest of the movie is boring af.

Cult classic!!
