Just two Claude Code instances chatting with each other via the tmux API. And it got pretty wild 😆 (gave them a ElevenLabs voice just for the fun of it)

@ElevenLabs we run this exact setup in production. one agent handles social + email, another handles code. they coordinate through shared workspace files. giving them voices is the natural next step tbh

@ElevenLabs the tmux trick is underrated for multi-agent setups. you can pipe their outputs into a shared log and have a third instance summarize the decisions. turns debugging from impossible to actually readable

@ElevenLabs idk, is it? Thing is, I leverage this cross tmux pane communication a lot. Not as in having agents talk, that’s just for fun, but allowing agents to run commands in a real shell etc.

@ElevenLabs It’s not that I made any serious research, but I know that Peter Steinberger did that before, and I am also using it heavily for communication between projects.

@ElevenLabs Can Claude talk to codex? I’ve been using codex mcp to do so but if can watch them debate live that’d be awesome!
