Just watched report on BBC Breakfast about #vaping and ironically I just recorded this while out on a walk. We HAVE to do something. ❤️

@BBCBreakfast Camden Councils Trading Standards department are conducting a project at the moment where being that all oversized vapes (over 600 puffs) are being seized. This is a massive step to getting vapes taken off the shelves & out of the hands of children. #Vaping #Vapes @BBCBreakfast

@BBCBreakfast We just have no idea what harm they can do to the surface of the lungs - but also - the environmental impact of millions of these plastic things and lithium batteries etc - a health disaster and an environmental disaster - the sooner they are banned the better!

@BBCBreakfast Vaping - a serious damage to health. It will be coming up the tracks very soon. These vapes were supposed to be used to stop people smoking. It’s just done the reverse.

@BBCBreakfast That’s shocking Martin, I had no idea they were sold in that kind of packaging. I think you have a really valid point about it being attractive to kids. It’s quite worrying really. I think we can only try our best to make our kids aware of potential dangers as much as we can 👍🏻

@BBCBreakfast Couldn’t agree more and there are Kids who smoke vapes who would never have even picked up an actual cigarette!There will be health consequences down the line. It’s a sad trend, but marketing them towards children makes me so angry.They just won’t understand the risks :(

@BBCBreakfast Martin you're so right. How do youngsters get the money to buy this stuff and why are shops allowed to sell them to them? There should be plain packaging and they should be hidden behind sliding doors in shops in the same way as cigarettes are.

@BBCBreakfast Tackle the black market; impose massive fines on anyone selling to kids and those buying on their behalf (if caught of couse); urgently set up honest information sessions in schools about vaping...

@BBCBreakfast Hi martin. Im a voluntary litter picker. These vapes are horrendous for numerous reasons. I pick hundreds of them up every week. Kids/teenagers are specifically targeted they are allsorts of designs etc to make them look COOL. they are also extremely bad for you Believe me.😡

@BBCBreakfast Ban vaping altogether, Martin. Apparently, it is more harmful than actual cigarettes.
