Personally, I think the politicization of Balogun’s red card incident damaged the USA team. It seemed to kill their momentum. They looked better than Belgium for much of this tournament, so losing 4–1 says a lot about how much their confidence and focus may have been affected.

Problem with team USA is that they heavily rely on one man to finish the job. They barely pass the ball to teammates that have the better chance of scoring which happens a lot in most NBA games. This is football, not basketball y’all.
