Unfortunate that it was only because of Enchantress asshole manipulations they did. Other than that they had no negative intentions with him either and Hulk did know that but still was understandably upset of course

I remember as a kid being upset that Hulk left so early and popping off when the Gamma World arc started being teased because it meant he was coming back.

That's the sad thing about the Hulk. He wants to find acceptance. However the only time people seem to care for him is when he's useful. Whenever he leaves, it's back at being an outcast. This is why he has hard time trusting others and end up pushing them away.

I do think Hulk was a bit unfair. Understandable, but from their perspectives he was being an asshole thanks to Enchantress. Not saying he was wrong to feel that way, but they weren't exactly wrong either to react when he started getting overly aggressive.

@WilTito Yet interestingly enough, would be a handful of episodes before he returns to the team, whereas in the comics, he wouldn’t become an Avenger again till round the release of the first movie.

It was the enchantress who was at fault for this, not the avengers.

It just fits well to how the Hulk had gotten that same way in the comics before the first Space Phantom showed up and hit the Avengers, which almost caused them to fall apart before they found Steve.
