“Rust can eat iron, rot can eat wood, and time can wear down many things — but water washes rust away, and in the end, it is the human who consumes the water

It is quenching ,use Water quenching causes: Thermal shock High internal stresses Cracks (especially at sharp corners & thin sections) Warping Oil quenching: Reduces thermal shock Gives uniform cooling Maintains dimensional stability That’s why precision parts are almost always oil-quenched.

Classic tilt. Sometimes the obvious counter is a trap. Gotta analyze the whole board, not just react to the immediate threat. What else is in play?

I think that's a pickling pit not 100% water. Sulfuric acid (\(H_{2}SO_{4}\)) pickling is a common, cost-effective industrial process for cleaning steel surfaces, removing scale, rust, and iron oxides to prepare metal for cold rolling, galvanizing, or coating.

That’s salt water quenching! Hence the reason there is flames. Water doesn’t burn. So it would just bubble and steam. Salt burns. So when quenching in salt water the salt burns off. So your post is flawed. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣
