I tried playing this again recently, wow those controls are hard to deal with, to be fair it was also hard with the orginal N64 Controller because they all had the stick high and right from drift

The high pitch bullets whizzing by sound effects are missed, and made it ‘feel’ like the player literally dodged a bullet. Who gives a crap if it’s not realistic. Bring ‘em back.

This dude has god-like aim. I'd say he's using a mouse, but I'd probably get cooked by a speed runner fan

This on a 24inch split screen 4 way tv with your boys was peak life. We would all love to smack our friends in the head again for "looking at our screen"

I never thought that back then. I always thought they could be better and would be better in time. Until they become so good that they look real or like Pixar.

Getting old sucks for sure, but going from having an Nes as a child for Christmas all the way to what we have now has been fun. I will say though, they definitly dont make them like they used to.

I loved goldeneye. But also played PC at the time. We already had better graphics. Certainly smoother ones! But the enemy animations, objectives, split screen, tool use and mission checkpointing was actually amazing. You couldn’t save scum, you had to execute for that 007 clear.

90s computer graphics have this essence to its color that’s so much better then photorealistic slop of today. I want cgi that looks like cgi if I want real life I’ll look out the window

@Matt_DBZ7 I thought the same thing back in the day. Some of my favorites were Doom, Duke Nukem, Star Wars Dark Forces and star wars X-wing or tie fighter
