I made a post about her a few days ago, and was shocked to find dozens of women trying to excuse that murderer and blame THE HUSBAND. They keep bringing up Andrea Yates. And that was a totally different household situation. People need to put themselves in the mindset of Cora Clancy. She was 5 years old when her mother, the person who was supposed to love and protect her, wrapped an exercise band around her neck, and strangled her to death. It would’ve taken 4/5 minutes and she would’ve fought for her life, she would cried, she would’ve been scared, and so heartbroken and confused. That’s who people should be thinking about. And her baby brothers, who were 3, and had no one to protect them, because Lindsay Clancy sent her husband out of the house. No mercy for her.

These women are sick, totally fucking deluded. How can you show support for a woman who murdered her own babies? Imagine the confusion they felt looking at their mother while she’s hurting them. And these women are giddy wondering if she’ll know about them. SMH

I’m generally a pretty harsh person and don’t believe most of the modern psychiatric excuses handed out like candy to people trying to escape consequences of their own stupid choices. That said, I have seen professionally post-patten psychosis - it’s a legit and terrible thing. and I’m kinda on this woman’s side. It really sounds like she and her husband really tried and were failed by a bunch of stupid, incompetent nurses who had no business “managing” her “care”. She deserves mercy. As for the fan club, I’m a nope.

I’ve been watching all the hearings for the last 9 days. She’s a murderer and what she did is absolutely horrific but let me tell you the defense case is leading at this time. The medical world was so awful to this woman by placing her on 13 pills, some ssri’s in just months.

It sounds like Lindsay Clancy was suffering from post-partum psychosis, similar to the Andrea Yates case. On top of that, her doctors had her on dozens of medications. She should have been committed to a mental facility, not at home as the primary caretaker of her children.

Abolish the 19th. Abolish universal suffrage. Sterilize child abusers. Women intentionally murder more children, than men. I'm sick of society pretending it's all just some complex misunderstanding.

She may have been having a psychotic episode/ mental break when she did it, she may have been failed by her doctors and husband, BUT she still did what she did. A life for a life. If she really is the loving mother she always claimed to be she wouldn’t want to be living anyways

SSRI drugs are known to cause homicidal/suicidal behaviors. Lindsay tried to get help. She was locked up 4 days; the psychiatrists didn’t even get her medical records, simply added more drugs. One IV dose of Oxytocin would have resolved the PPD Ted Talk: What Do Vets Know?
