There are huge portions of planet Earth that still attribute the success of White people to the fact that animals are drawn to us. The reality is that our higher IQ probably allows us to empathize with animals better, but it’s still a great story.

I'll never forget pulling over with my Mexican coworker to stop and help an injured goose. He couldn't comprehend what I was doing taking her with me. Turns out they had found like half a dozen goslings a block over and that was probably the mom. So glad I stopped to help her.
