This is just terrible. They called and said they were coming to pick up their dog. There’s no way that old dog was 12 miles from home. I wonder how much money they get paid to euthanize a dog?

This is awful. His wife called day before, shelter put on notice of intent to pick up Gunner. There’s more to this & they need to open an investigation. Everything about this is foul. We had a Sr. Dog w/arthritis & there’s no way Gunner was 12 miles from home. Who made the decision? Why? Who brought in Gunner? Why? Why wasn’t the 72 hr hold honored? Why the hurry? Gunner deserved better than this. My heartbreaks thinking he was afraid, alone & wondering where is his family. And to have the family find him in a plastic red bag. This animal shelter needs to pay for their despicable, inhumane crime (murder) to Gunner. Rest in peace, power and paradise sweet, sweet boy.🙏🏾🕊️🌹🕯️😢🎗️🦮🐾🦴🐾🦴

Absolutely disgraceful and reprehensible what this so called “animal shelter” did to sweet Gunnar!
