We must keep on pushing for justice and accountability. Those Muslims who gang raped young girls and got away with it, and those who covered it up must face the full force of the law.👇👇😡

Alireza Sepahi married in prison while facing execution. A heart attack delayed his hanging. The Islamic Republic killed him anyway, and executed Alireza Raeesi alongside him. Our thoughts are with Mahshad and both families. Those who ordered, authorised and carried out these killings must face justice. We will not stop demanding accountability.

Charlie Kirk's assassination was political. It’s disgusting and it’s not who we are in America. We must bring those responsible to justice swiftly.

As we condemn the unfortunate goon culture in our politics, we politicians must also look inwards. Many of these goons are sponsored and weaponized by politicians. We must stop enabling political violence and intimidation. While we acknowledge the rotten apples within our security forces, IPOA must investigate and ensure those who betray their duty face justice. We must demand accountability from both sides: politicians who sponsor violence and security officers who abuse their authority.

If we want to avoid a spiral of hatred after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the test is simple: can those who loved him still show kindness and compassion, even to those who mock or condemn?

Today, history was made. The United Nations General Assembly has passed the resolution declaring the trafficking of enslaved Africans and the racialised chattel enslavement of Africans as among the gravest crimes against humanity. This historic vote marks a significant step forward in the global pursuit of truth, accountability, and reparatory justice. For generations, communities across the African diaspora have carried the weight of this injustice. Today, the world has taken an important step toward acknowledging that truth. We honor those who fought, those who suffered, and those who continue to demand justice. The vote is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning of a new chapter. The work continues.

“Our son’s life does not matter to those who hold positions that are supposed to serve and protect the public.” Those are the words of Nolan Wells’ mother. We demand justice for Nolan Wells and all the other Black youth whose deaths our justice system has failed.

Today, a major win for justice. The D.C. Circuit ruled that Abu Khatallah's 28-year sentence for his role in the 2012 Benghazi attack was too lenient and sent the case back for resentencing. This decision affirms that sentences must reflect the seriousness of terrorism offenses and ensures greater accountability for those who attack Americans. Another important victory for my office and for the pursuit of justice.
