WATCH: It has now emerged that the referral that got General Dumisani Khumalo arrested was sparked by a letter from the office of the suspended Minister of Police, Senzo Mchunu. The letter that was signed by Cedric Nkabinde, the Chief of Staff, was based on a complaint from MP Fadiel Adams. IDAC was far too brazen, bafethu. It operated like a mafia house. Even with the Madlanga Commission actively exposing the rot, IDAC didn't slow down. As recently as the Fadiel Adams arrest, IDAC was still demanding documents from PKTT. As recently as June, IDAC was summoning Gen. Khumalo to Brooklyn and telling him to pack an overnight bag. They became too brazen. Cut the oxygen and let it die, maan!

Chair has just told Johnson that even a first year Law student would understand the Subjective vs Objective test that must be applied to an Affidavit in order to meet the Section 27 compliance of having GROUNDS to investigate by IDAC. 😭 When she leaves here, she must go and WITHDRAW ALL THE CASES against General Khumalo et al, and Brigadier Mokwele.
