Warning ! upsetting images of dog cruelty from Turkey Canikkale Unity dog shelter in Turkey A dead dog is hanging over the shelter fence after apparently trying to escape and possibly getting stuck. (it may have died in the shelter and been thrown there but there is evidence on social media of dogs scaling the fencing to try to escape). One dog is dead on the ground. Staff have not noticed or do not care. Dead dogs are routinely left and are eaten by the other dogs. This is the disgusting reality of local authority run dog shelters in Turkey. So a soldier decided to help. He brought the abandoned dog back to Israel, looked after it, cared for it, nurtured it back to health, and gave it real love. And just look at this dog now. Healthy, happy, confident, playful. This is who we are. We love life. And dogs truly are man’s best friends.

I have seen a few videos of dogs with possible cerebellar hypoplasia going viral recently. They are portrayed as being normal healthy dogs that are just "happy", when in reality they are disabled. These dogs ARE cute and worthy of love, but we shouldn't be misleading the public that these are normal dogs. Society already struggles to read and understand dog behaviour accurately as it is. I see so many examples of people misunderstanding dog behaviour, in my clinical practice and in comments to videos online. Misunderstanding dog behaviour might seem harmless to most people, but in reality it leads to unhappy dogs. I go into this in detail in my book, humans misreading dog behaviour means they are misunderstood. This is a real problem with dogs that are suffering from mental health conditions like severe anxiety. Two heroic stray dogs rescued an injured dog from the middle of the road by dragging him to safety. The family dog in Changzhou, China squeezed out from the crack in their front door and was hit by a car, becoming stranded in the middle of the road. Many cars passed by as the pup laid in harms way, but it was two stray dogs who finally stepped in to help. After several attempts, the two strays were finally able to pull the injured dog out of the street. Thankfully, the injured dog was soon reunited with their owner, who confirmed the pup survived and only suffered minor injuries. He said he was sad after watching the CCTV footage, but confirmed the dogs who saved his dog have been rescued. 15/10 for both

We have got such a good assurance from the Mayor that he also wants to implement the order in a good way, along with all the citizens. Full free medical care in Tina’s hospital 🩸Mr Handsome came in for big wound cleaning in his appointment. 5 other serious cases treated all for free. 💐 We sadly lost a big local community dog who had mysterious venom bites and who had been in ICU with us for 5 days 🎁 All staff swapped gifts 📹 Made 250 videos for people around the world suffering and feeling alone today. Happy Christmas to you all and thanks for the support that allows us to help so many dogs now ❤️
