The DOJ charging LaMonica McIver proves the rule of law still exists—barely. Members of Congress don’t get to storm ICE facilities, assault federal agents, and play victim while detainees include murderers and child rapists. Bodycam footage shows McIver barreling through officers during this orchestrated chaos. If conservatives pulled this stunt, they’d already be in cuffs. Instead, Dems get taxpayer-funded lawyers and media cover. ICE exists to enforce borders and remove threats—not endure performative grandstanding from politicians who enabled the border crisis. This isn’t “oversight.” It’s obstruction. Lock them up.

Why don't charges need to be "prepared" against normal people? If I punch someone, I get arrested on the spot. Serious question as I don't understand this as I have never heard of some intermediate step like "preparing" charges.

Funny how Democrats can't remember when GOP House reps went to the facility to check on Jan 6th political hostages and where denied entry.

About time the DOJ holds Democrats accountable, no one is above the law, not even politicians who think their status shields them. Assaulting federal agents protecting our borders is a direct attack on law and order. Trump supporters know enforcement is key to national security. If we want respect for laws, justice must be swift and impartial, regardless of party.
