Here Justice Thomas says we have to stop interpreting Law in convoluted ways, it’s pretty simple, the 14th Ammendment was meant to give slaves citizenship and the rights of that citizenship. He adds that Law needs to be understood by the average person stop with the $20 dollar words!

We could listen to Justice Thomas all day! Love the way he speaks.

That’s what we do in medicine too, make it more confusing than it has to be when it should make perfect sense.

This explains a lot of Trump’s success as a politician. Speech experts say he speaks on a 6th grade level. It takes a stronger brain to simplify the complex than to complicate simplicity.

@BlissTabitha This is one of the most brilliant men I’ve heard speak. Black people need this kind of person to look up to not some sports guy or rapper. The intelligence level he has is exactly why he is conservative. He knows that is what makes the country great.

I love Justice Clarence. Notice what he says “ it’s not that complicated”. Also, The Supreme Court gives “opinions” and “explantations”. They don’t make law. 🥰🇺🇸🇺🇸

I speak often of the “black clad clerisy”. Just as Justice Thomas says, we must dismantle the complexity and inaccessibility of the law. Just as Protestants advocate for “every man a priest”, so should every man be a legal scholar.

We need more of this kind of thinking. Our Supreme Court should interpret the law where every individual can understand it. I wish we have more Thomas in our court. It’s all about common sense.

I love Justice Thomas so much. I remember his confirmation hearing and how hard they tried to smear this great man. He was too intelligent to operate out of emotion then and he still is now. He’s the best SC Justice we’ve ever had.
