this goes way too hard on Herbert. Hes not a top 5 QB. Hes a top 12 tho. I’m not sure why Clark has this much energy regarding what Herbert isn’t rather than what he is but once again he easily opens the door for those who want to paint him as having a bias towards certain QBs. (I’ll leave it there). Here’s what Herbert needs to do. Finish. He has to win the close games. The kind that the Chargers always find a way to lose. Now that he’s with Harbaugh and they are infusing more around him he’s got to step up and be that guy. Herbert is not the first big time talented QB that struggled before being able to shift gears and reach the next level. I didn’t see this entire segments so maybe just maybe this clip doesn’t represent everything RC said but in this clip it sure does appear he goes out of his way to shit all over him. My question is why? I’ve never heard him go in on Prescott like that and he’s probably the closest comp.
