John Lynch explains why the 49ers didn't address the offensive line earlier than the 7th round of the draft: "We we're able to do that with Connor Colby, but there were a number of times that we were interested in adding and it just didn't come our way. And you’ve gotta stay true to where you have guys graded, not take guys just to take them but to take guys that you're interested in at that point. And it just never really aligned. We were happy to add Colby. We think he's a really good scheme fit. Great thing about Iowa is they run a very similar, they run a lot of outside zones, so you get to see a guy like him do things that we do and he does them well. So, we’re happy to add that. But there were a number of times Kyle and I were talking about that at the end that just didn't align, one of those deals and you don't want to force things. So, it wasn't our time for that."

CrowdStrike founder George Kurtz says the HuggingFace hack consisted of "known attack chains." And that the problem of agentic hacking like the HuggingFace incident is tractable. "Because when we built our system, it was designed to look at what we call indicators of attack. So if you look at the whole attack chain, it's just linking all these [attacks] together. Codex doesn't lock you into OpenAI models. Tibo Tibo on why: "If you are part of this community and building an excellent coding harness, why would you couple it to your model? That felt quite disappointing, to make that decision. It didn't feel right. And it's open source in the first place. It would have been trivial for anyone to fork it. But then you're encouraging people to go and use that fork, and now suddenly you have overhead and the only reason you have a fork is because you wanted to change 10 lines of code to add support for another model provider. That feels very silly. So why not just support it in the first place? The other thing is we benefit a lot from being able to give optionality. Maybe today you love using OpenAI models and you're super productive with them, but tomorrow there's a new model that comes out and you want to try that. Why force you to completely change your setup just to try a new model? Optionality is very important to companies that we work with. And this is something that we absolutely lean into."
