Morally bankrupt leadership. There was a time when the CEO and senior leadership would gladly forego their bonuses voluntarily to save their workers’ jobs. What is a bonus for? Should be based on job performance. If you’re laying off 10% of workers you shouldn’t expect a bonus.

You lay people off, so that you can get bonuses for the management. Now that is cold.
