The Governor General is appointed by the prime minister. The Governor General today agreed to suspend Parliament for almost a quarter of a year. This rubber stamp, appointed position should be abolished. One person, the Governor General, agreed to throw Canada into unmitigated uncertainty, with a suspended government, even as a new US administration takes power. You’re amazing, Gad… Even his resignation is a lie… He has prorogued parliament & left the country crippled when we are in the worst state…in many lifetimes…with the threat of tariffs coming from our number 1 trading partner…because of our border & immigration policies… Absolutely everything is broken…& he STILL can only think about himself & politics…absolutely no humility or humanity in this walking piece of deification…
