Before Colonel Sebola ended up talking about the Dollars incident, he really fought hard with his conscience. 😭 You can hear the tension for a good 3 minutes or so, where he wasn't sure whether to tell or not to tell, finally he decided to speak out. A year ago at Talladega I asked Kyle Busch about his upcoming 40th birthday and how he felt about it. Honestly, watching this back made me laugh a lot. Some of the longer tenured members of the beat then made mention of how hard it was on them to see Kyle turn 40 given they covered him when he was a teenager, and it got mentioned when Kyle was prohibited from racing Trucks at Fontana when he was 16. 🐿️ yeonjun hyung has really worked so hard 🐿️ yeonjun hyung’s album is really so good 🐿️ since it’s yeonjun hyung’s thing, i can’t give you big spoilers or tell you what the songs are like but it’s just so yeonjun 🐿️ yeonjun hyung is really good at what he does but the thing i envy and think is really incredible about him is that he found his own color really early on so that color is getting more intense as time passes and it’s being processed in a very cool well 🐿️ i think these songs capture that very well 🐿️ even i look at him and think “he’s doing a greta job, he’s worked hsrd” 🐿️ no matter how talented you are, this is not something you discover in just one instance or moment. how hard must yeonjun hyung have worked to find that for himself. 🐿️ i really respect him 🐿️ being good at something and having your own thing are two different things…of course, you need to do both but yeonjun hyung is already good and he’s found his own thing now too so he’s very…promising hehe 🐿️ his future path is very bright and promising

If a neighbor kid worked up enough courage to come knock on my door, tell me he’s hungry, I would not laugh at him and give him a bag of Cheetos so he would go away. In a now viral moment, grown men and women were trash talking the little boy saying he looks like he ate already and worst. I don’t want to think that we’ve gone so far downhill that we are picking on a hungry child. We don’t know what he has going on at home, the facts are straight up. He’s a child and he’s hungry, what more do we need to know. The neighbors said they are done cooking but haven’t eaten yet. That tells me they got more than enough to spare a plate for a hungry child. Like I said before, I am not going to invite him in because that’s weird to invite someone else’s child in but I would make him a plate and make sure he’s safe. People that are saying that they would never feed someone else’s kid is the problem, if they were that worried they can have him ask his mother first. If he came by your house would you feed him or send him along his way hungry?

Cruise founder Kyle Vogt’s framework for choosing a startup idea After cofounding Twitch and selling the company to Amazon for $1 billion in 2014, Kyle was trying to figure out what to do next: “Twitch was and is today pretty successful but the result was entertainment mostly… That was a good thing. Interesting technology. “It had to be something where the technology itself determines the success of the product. Like hard, really juicy technology problems, because that’s what motivates me.” 2. Impactful. “It had to have a direct and positive impact on society in some way. So an example would be healthcare or self-driving cars because they save lives… There’s a clear connection to somehow improving other people’s lives.” 3. Large scale. “It had to be a big business because for the positive impact to matter, it’s got to be a large scale.” After thinking on it more and experimenting with various side projects, he ultimately decided self driving cars was what he wanted to work on: “I just took the plunge right then and there and said, this is something I know I can commit 10 years to. It’s probably the greatest applied AI problem of our generation. And if it works, it’s going to be both a huge business and probably the most positive impact I can possibly have on the world.” General Motors acquired Cruise for more than $1 billion two years later, but Kyle continued to work on self-driving as CEO of Cruise through November 2023. So his 10-year forecast actually proved quite accurate. It took him a little bit to kind of pick that up, but we so believed in him as a guy and his talent level that after a year, you could start to see it clicking. As someone who knows a thing or two about wings that can disrupt games, I wanted to ask Spoelstra about Jaden McDaniels and his year over year improvement: “I say this as the ultimate compliment…he’s the glue player on a really good team.” More: “Everything that they need him to do, in terms of defending, taking on all of the best challenges, rebounding, he puts the ball on the floor, is a catch and go guy, and his three point shooting has improved quite a bit.”
