K Viswanath + SPB + Vani Jayaram 🙏🙏🙏

Oh the beauty of the great Vempati master’s choreography and Manju’s Kuchipudi!! Absolutely stunning! You hardly get to see such quality of Kuchipudi anymore!

SPB said once that his singing “Broche Vaa” (w/ no classical training) was a big deal for him. Almost no one remembers that Vani Jairam was the female voice for all of the pieces in “Shankarabharanam”. Sad that we’ve lost both KV & Vani Jairam in the same week.

KV Mahadevan, yes. Absolutely vital role in the film. Plus the cameraman, Balu Mahendra (if I remember right)

Agree... so many legends involved in the making of this classic

@keshav61 They have made generations smile and happy with their work. God will fondly take care of them "up there"

@rvaidya2000 No K V Mahadevan? He was mainly responsible for the success of this film. Do not grudge to give him his dues.

What a film!!!

that's the international hit movie 👌

Would have been even better with kjy in place of spb.

Khamaas raagam 😇😇
