This was our 2nd week of school activity, Mike! Kids LOVED it--now, if I could just get some of them to only pick up 1 card when looking for a match😅

I hear ya! Our lesson focus was on taking turns and playing fair. This activity really shows you who can do that and who is still working on it. 😁 It also gives them ample opportunities to practice those things. 👍🏼

Do you think a pre K group could handle this activity?

Depends on your kids. I have some kindergarten classes that do great and I’ve had some that need to have the directions repeated or stop to re-teach sometimes. I’ve never taught pre-K.

I tried this with my class of 54 5th graders today. I have to figured out a safer way for them to run back to their team.
