Thanks for rhe memories. THIS IS K7, not the soulless carcass in the glass case, so desperately sought by @ruskin_the .

We're heartbroken for you all. Thank you for an amazing memory and a school presentation that'll never be bettered.

Was great seeing her in action on Loch Fad in 2018. I took the day off work and came over to see her, I thought it might be a once in a lifetime opportunity but hoped I was wrong.

So very sad, I hope one day the RM will realise what they have lost by not including the BBP team. RIP K7 and thanks for the memory of Loch Fad, it will stay with me for the rest of my life thanks to Bill and the BBP team

Devastated for the BBP team. I was lucky enough to see her first low speed run on Bute. As an engineer for a UK helicopter manufacturer, I fully understand the need to keep the systems live and maintained. Ruskin have no clue what is required.

What a total failure this is, there is a team of experienced experts with the craft who have made her what she is now a true engineering masterpiece who have been cast aside just so a few can see her make money in a museum, breaks my heart I missed her run on Bute. Heartbreaking

In 2018 I was 58. When I pitched up at Fad and saw that blue beast sitting there, I cried. Thank you for that memory BBP.

You must all be heartbroken, but take pride in your excellent work, BBP! She is in the glorious condition she is because of your effort and determination. I have so enjoyed following this chapter in her life, so thank you for all you have done, and for sharing it with us all. 👍🏼

Very sad news. Bill, I can only imagine how you and the team feel. It was a pleasure to be able to thank you in person at Donald’s funeral so may I repeat my thanks for all you’ve done. What a bloody shame mate. K7 belongs on the water……

That’s very sad news, but congratulations on everything that you were able to achieve. Seems to me that this is the outcome of small-minded and unimaginative group of people, but in no way a victory.
