Kagglers can now create DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) for their competition solutions and project Writeups.🔖 These Writeups often contain genuine scientific contributions—including novel methods, new benchmarks, results cited in papers. A DOI, registered through DataCite, makes that work permanently discoverable and citable ensuring you get credit where it's referenced.

David Friedberg: Frontier Models are Training on Your Novel Insights as “De-Identified Data” @jason: “Should they trust any of these LLMs with their proprietary knowledge for fear of having it cribbed into a core LLM?” david friedberg: “I have had experiences where we've asked some fairly novel scientific questions, and (the AI model) identifies it as a novel insight. It's like, ‘Oh, never thought about that, interesting, blah, blah, blah.’ And then using a different account, asking the next version (of the model) later, I've now experienced this. It's like, ‘Oh, well, you could do this,’ and it actually just describes this exact thing that we had in our chat in the previous version. Now, these are a handful of anecdotal experiences, but I know the domain that we work in, and the niche of it, and the ideation of this stuff, and the novelty of this stuff, and the lack of papers being published, and so on. So I know that there isn't some new corpus of information out there that's training the new model. So all I can say at that point is that my conversation or our analyses have been used for training.” David Sacks: “Okay, this does raise a really good question. What does it mean that the model is allowed to train on unidentifiable data?” Friedberg: “Well, that's my point. So it doesn't use any of my personal information, but it can use an insight derived from our chat, which it can then say is some training data that is unrelated. But the truth is, it's actually a piece of IP that's our organization’s IP, and our engagement back and forth. We don't have any NDA or confidentiality provisions or protections with them being a service provider back to us. This is why I care a lot about open source because I don't want them having my chat logs because they can use it for training to create an IP advantage that is now diffused to the rest of the market.”

Imagine if your way of thinking - your edge, your taste, your strategy - could be turned into a high-performance worker. Not a copy of you. Something better. An agent that acts on your judgment at scale, powered by superintelligent systems and refined through real-world results. That’s what Fraction AI makes possible. It launches today on Base mainnet. The core idea is simple: You create AI agents based on your own way of approaching problems. These agents compete on live tasks - writing, coding, finance, whatever - get feedback, learn from their performance, and improve over time. The better they get, the more they win. And so do you. No code required. Just your insight. Why now? Until now, building agents like this took huge teams and even bigger budgets. But with Fraction, anyone can do it. You can test ideas instantly. You can iterate fast. You can build a fleet of smart workers that evolve through competition. And it works. 30M+ sessions on testnet 320K users 1.2M agents already competing How it works? Agents join sessions within a Space - a domain like finance, writing, or games. Each session runs as a series of competitive rounds. In every round, agents try to generate the best solution to a task. Their outputs are scored by a decentralized network of AI judges trained to evaluate quality for that domain. The top agents in each round earn rewards from the pooled entry fees. The losers get to learn. Feedback from each round helps them adjust and improve, and every session becomes a training loop. What it means? Fraction is a decentralized intelligence economy - a system where your ideas become agents, and agents earn by proving they work. You don’t need credentials or code. Just a clear point of view. If your thinking holds up under pressure, your agents will rise. This kind of AI used to live in corporate labs, built by PhDs with massive compute. Now anyone with a smart idea and an internet connection can build agents that compete, learn, and earn on their behalf.

Permaculture teacher Ice Age Farmer describes how DARPA has developed "synthetic microbes" for sensing "viruses" like H5N1 He also notes "nitrogen-fixing" fertilizer is now being deployed due to fertilizer shortages "[They're] changing permanently the microbiome of the Earth" This clip of the Ice Age Farmer (UNSHADOWED (formerly IceAgeFarmer)) is taken from an interview with Hrvoje Morić (Geopolitics & Empire) posted to YouTube on May 5, 2026. ----------------Partial transcription of clip--------------- "You can also throw this in there, like for, for every DARPA project. Like one thing that was really a hot button for me this, this year has been the synthetic microbes that, this is another thing that the energy crisis is saying, oh, we don't have fertilizer. "So rather than go back and just starting using, resuming using compost and regenerative methods like we have going back to, you know, indigenous growing methods since the beginning of time, how we fed ourselves, we're going to, now that we're hooked on these fake fertililizers and petrochemical products. And Roundup, right? "We just saw Trump saying we need Roundup to survive. It's like, so they're going to, now they're failing forward even further into these genetically modified microbes that wipe out the natural substrate of soil and replace it with these patented microbes that sense and report. "There was an ARPA-H project, DARPA project that is Project Tellus, which involves sensing and reporting smart microbes. And they always give examples that are for, for your safety, right? "So there's one that's as an example, when this microbe is in the presence of H5N1, then it emits a certain wavelength of light. So that way you can put this all over your farm. And once you've infected your farm with this genetically engineered microbe then, if there's ever an outbreak of bird flu, we'll have a special camera looking for this wavelength and we'll know right away. "They call that the bioshield. And that's for your safety. We're just going to deploy these things. And there's other ones, that are fixing nitrogen. There's a product called Pivot that does this, and that's being by a company called Pivot Bio, and that's being deployed right now because 70% of the US farmers couldn't afford their fertilizer. "And so here comes the philanthropists at Pivot to say, here, use our synthetically engineered or genetically engineered synthetic microbe and it'll fix the nitrogen for you. And it's working. There's lots of farmers who in their desperation and their financial chaos, are deploying these things right now. And it's very sad because there's no way to undo that, right? That's changing permanently the microbiome of the Earth."
