I thought it was interesting when he said very confidently “ we have the players and we are going to get better and better every week.” He seems a lot more comfortable and confident this year speaking about the team.

You can’t make that up. The only period of the game when Bama offense looked like it had a clue is when Grubb couldn’t talk to Russell. Man. Bama has a Grubb problem. He is a liability. It’s why Seahawks fired him as fast as they could.

The defense giving up 1 3rd down in two games is ridiculously good. The ability to get off of the field and get your offense on the field is winning football.

This is a really good. Not sure I remember seeing DeBoer this confident and commanding before.

When the helmet communication was off THE TEAM only had to deal with one play call NOT THE HELMET CALL and THEN THE SECOND GUESS PLAY CALL WITH HAND SIGNALS. make one call and go with it AND give the QB the option to check out of it.

His conviction when he says, we are going to get better. Team chemistry is great Wants to run the damn ball more. If Bama can continue to have the best third down defense in the country, I’ll take my chances on being a contender.

Profound comment by CKD about Keelon understanding high level pressure. Even though it was in HS, there’s not an environment in HS football that creates more pressure than at the highest level in Texas. “Friday Night Lights” wasn’t created by accident. TX HS football is insane.

I think it’s being overblown a bit. Grubb still had communication with the sideline. Just because he wasn’t in Keelon’s helmet, doesn’t mean he had no mic. Coaches are all probably on different channels, so he was probably able to call plays to the sideline and they then signaled

That win was extraordinarily big for DeBoer, and the team. From 7:10 on in the 3rd quarter was flawless.

Fighting through adversity is a huge part of being able to win. That’s one of the biggest and best things the team did to beat Kentucky. That’s growth
